About JWB Cares

Changing Lives Through Hands-On Community Involvement.

Founded in 2017 as the philanthropic arm of JWB Real Estate Companies, JWB Cares was born out of a desire to give back to the local community in meaningful ways. It does so through strategic partnerships with other local non-profit organizations, such as SeaMark Ranch, K9s for Warriors, and Rethreaded, as well as its own initiatives, which take specific aim at solving the affordable housing crisis in Jacksonville. Since its inception, JWB Cares  has donated over 5,000 hours of volunteer time, raised nearly $500K in funds to provide affordable housing to those in need, and matched nearly $50k of its employees contributions to charities of their choice. It’s largest annual fundraising initiative culminates with a Jacksonville resident being gifted a home. 2024 marks its 6th annual home giveaway, and the first year the home will be given to a current JWB resident.
