There are some days that remind us just how special our community is – and today is one of those days. At JWB Rental Homes, we’re thrilled to share the heartwarming news of our 6th annual JWB Home Giveaway, a cherished tradition that continues to bring joy and hope to deserving members of the Jacksonville community.
For the past five years, we’ve had the privilege of giving away a home to a United States Veteran, honoring their service and sacrifice. This year, as part of JWB Cares 2024, we took a different but equally meaningful approach by selecting a deserving individual from our own community of JWB residents. It’s the best day of the year, and we’re excited to tell you all about it!

A Tradition of Giving Back
The JWB Home Giveaway has become a cornerstone of our commitment to giving back to the community that has supported us for so many years. Through the JWB Cares initiative, we’ve been able to make a real difference in the lives of those who have given so much to others. And this year, we had the honor of continuing that tradition.
Our 6th home giveaway was made possible thanks to the collaboration of several outstanding nonprofit organizations, including LIFT JAX, Sulzbacher, Ability Housing, and READ USA. These incredible organizations took on the challenging task of vetting 700 JWB residents, each of whom makes a positive impact in Jacksonville.

After much consideration, the panel of nonprofits selected a recipient who truly stood out as a deserving individual. While all of the nominees were remarkable, this person’s dedication to the community and commitment to making Jacksonville a better place earned them the keys to their very own home. We couldn’t be happier with the selection, and we know this home will be a life-changing gift for them and their family.
